Goodbye THRU, Hello Twychurch!
The THRU-Christ website address people use to find us on the internet dates from a time when we were four churches, hence the H representing Hurst. We now need something that is easy to spell, unique and memorable. We are therefore moving to Twychurch.org but our old address will still work for the time being.
We have also been working with a designer to develop our new logo and brand identity. This was quite a challenge as our three churches have different names, different buildings and different styles.. The answer came from our vision: “Encountering God together" and thinking about how Moses encountered God’s presence in a burning bush. The resulting logo has both fire representing God’s holy spirit and a branch representing both our growth and transformation. This logo and font should be appearing soon at all our three churches, our website and on our publications. This is the St Mary’s version below. We hope you’ll like it! (June 2026)

New Vision
On 23rd November 2025, we announced that the LEP of Thru-Christ will now be known as the Twyford Church Partnership which links St Mary's Twyford, URC Twyford and St James' Ruscombe. The PCC and Elders have had several months working on our new Vision statement document which we hope will influence our direction as three churches in the years to come. We hope this document will nudge us both in our worship together but also in our engagement with our local community. We will move our branding from Thru-Christ to the Twyford Church Partnership.
