Christmas Tree Festival 2012

The second Christmas Tree Festival attracted over 2700 visitors to view the forest of 67 trees dressed by organisations and businesses in Twyford and displayed between the 6th and 9th of December 2012. The themes were The Diamond Jubilee and the Olympics which resulted in wonderful creations involving gold medals, lots of red, white and blue, diamonds, flags etc.

Evening entertainment with the Waltham St Lawrence Silver Band had the audience shouting for more, Steve Price the Illusionist performed incredible tricks including cutting a lady in two, (and reassembling her) in front of the amazed crowd. Sunday afternoon a scrumptious christmas tea was served and was a complete sellout to the lucky 60 people. After which a completely full church sung carols in the candle and  tree lit service.
