The Queen's Diamond Jubilee 2012

The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Celebrations were enjoyed by over 1,000 people on 4th June 2012.

St Mary's church hosted a wonderful jubilee tea, gales of laughter from children entertained by Uncle Charlie the clown, a musical soiree from High Voltage singers, followed by a huge screen presentation, via a BBC link up, of the Jubilee Concert from Buckingham Palace.

Finally a big powerful electric beacon was lit as part of the national chain of beacons, and was seen from around the village. Money raised was shared between Feed the Children, a local charity and the church.
